Welcome New Applicants

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in our Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Program. Our mission is to train the next generation of leaders in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. We are looking for motivated fellows with a strong emphasis in serving and advocating for disadvantaged patients, the community we serve. Our faculty is dedicated to teaching and very supportive of fellows. Los Angeles General Medical Center serves a large disadvantaged population with an incredible range and depth of pathology. As a result, our fellows receive an outstanding clinical education and are well prepared to meet the challenges and advocate for their patients in any practice.

The majority of our training is located at 4 sites: the Los Angeles General Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital, and Memorial Care Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach.

We have a strong tradition of teaching and research, and our fellows and faculty have been honored with many awards. We are located in Los Angeles, a large and diverse city with an incredible array of things to do within a relatively short distance.

An overview of our Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program can be found in the “Fellowship Overview” section of this website. We coordinate our interviews through our office (see address and contact information below). More details can be found in the “Applying” section of this website.

Applications should be made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We look forward to meeting you. If you have questions prior to your interview, feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,
